Connect Story lessons to worship!

Use the scheduling tips to help prepare your program.

Select a story, then choose one of 3 suggested storytelling methods:

• invite other memebers ot he congregtiaion to participate in storytelling by using the provided scripts to create active drama
• or, watch the story on the video
• or, read the story to the children from The Family Story Bible (also sold on this page)

Whichever method you use, learn valuable storytelling tips included on the video

Involve the children:

• establish a ritual of prayer and introduction
• hang the poster where all can see the words to the prayer and the song
• set up activity centers for children to explore the story
• use the blessings at the end of each session to help children remember and share what they have learned
• bring the whole congregation together in celebration with the optional seventh session

Be creative!

• Don't wait for Advent, Christmas & Epiphany-try "Christmas in July" at Vacation Bible School  
• Use this resource for church camps, midweek programs, or as a unit of focused learning within another program
