This lectionary-based, 7-session DVD does more than study scripture readings. It's a spiritual encounter that uses stunning works of art to help engage the heart and open the mind. Signs of Lent requires no leader or participant preparation. The DVD does all the work, guiding participants through a process of reflection and discovery using art, scripture, and prayer. Each session on the DVD is 10-12 minutes long. The DVD includes printable pdf Leader Guide files with a session outline. These are also available online.
Participant Resources
Signs of Lent Inserts serve as a foundation to the study. These beautiful 4-page devotionals explore the stories of seven encounters with Jesus including Nicodemus, the woman at the well, and the resurrection of Lazarus, using works of art. The inserts also offer discussion questions and suggestions for through-the-week reflection at home. Inserts are sold in multiples of 50. Distribute them with your worship bulletin or newsletter. This will inspire greater attendance at your adult study and invite the whole congregation into the learning experience.
