Empower: brings closure to the time of exploration, offers a benediction on this time of engagement, and sends the pastor back into the tasks of ministry with new energy.
But Awaken isn’t all incense and meditation. Awaken also offers stories and quotes, a dash of humor, plus weekly hymn suggestions to deepen your worship planning.
Included with each quarterly issue of Awaken is a free copy of the companion resource, Behold: Arts for the Church Year. Behold is a diverse and beautiful collection of writings and images, based on the lectionary. Awaken’s sermon preparation process draws on Behold as an arts devotional, offering pastors a new lens through which to view and explore familiar scripture texts.
