Living the Questions is a 21-week DVD-and web-based small-group study that explores beyond the traditions and rote theologies in which so many people and local churches seem to be stuck. Modeled on the popular Alpha Course format, it provides a safe environment to ask questions. Living the Questions 2 will help adults discover the relevance of Christianity in the 21st century and consider what a meaningful faith can look like in today's world.
An Authentic Faith
Living the Questions 2 is an open-minded alternative to studies that attempt to give participants all the answers. The course strives to create an environment where participants’ faith journeys can be transformed as they learn to recognize the presence of the divine in their lives. The study content is aimed at theologically moderate to liberal Christians.
Innovative Resources
Comprised of 21 sessions, Living the Questions 2 may be offered in sequence or as three independent flights of seven units each: Invitation to Journey, Reclaiming the World and Call to Covenant. Like Living the Questions, Living the Questions 2 includes downloadable and printable leader and participant guides with weekly readings and discussion questions. Each session may be conducted in one hour or expanded to include a meal and personal sharing. The flexible DVD and resource materials can be used in variety of class, retreat, and other formats.
